1. How do I get the longest life out of my two-way radio battery? Be sure to charge to full capacity until your product is charged completely. Fully discharge the battery until the battery is completely drained and recharge is required. Remember to store your charger at the optimal room temperature at 64 – 75 degrees Fahrenheit.

  3. How do I know when my warranty for my Waveband two-way accessory is expired? On the battery, there is the month and year that designates when the battery was purchased. The warranty typically covers from a year to 18 months.

  6. What do the colors indicate when I charge my battery? The colors indicate the status of your batteries charge. A solid ORANGE color means its performing battery diagnostics. A solid RED means the battery is charging, less than 80%. A flashing GREEN means the battery is charging, more than 80% and a solid GREEN means its fully charged.
  7. My charger is flashing red. What does it mean? This indicates fault conditions. If it flashes RED 1 time, the charge is complete, but battery undercharged. If it flashes RED 2 times means the battery contact is “open” and you should check battery compatibility. If its flashing RED 3 times, means overcurrent conditions caused by battery short circuit.
