My name is Nick Hohman. I'm the Vice President of Waveband Communications. Today we're going to discuss the capabilities of our Lithium Polymer chemistry batteries.

Lithium Polymer chemistry batteries offer the longest run time compared to any chemistry battery in the industry including nickel cadmium or nickel metal hydride. With all of our batteries we only incorporate using the highest quality components including Sano Japanese Cells during manufacturing, gold plated contacts and a belt clip, free of charge. You don't have to buy a belt clip.

All of our batteries are designed to work with Motorola IMPRES chargers. If you use our batteries you're going to get the same readout that you would with a Motorola IMPRES charger. It will not require you to have to purchase additional two-way radio battery chargers.

Now today, i'm going to be demonstrating the capacity of the battery. This is a 4600 milliamp battery. We're going to conduct a test using our Motorola XTS 5000 portable radio. We've pre-programmed the radio to the National Weather Service channel to show you how long the battery will run when left on.

I'm going to hook the battery up to the radio now (pictured below) and we're going to turn on to the Weather Service channel to illustrate how long the battery will run.

So how long will a Lithium Polymer two-way radio battery last?

The results were pretty impressive. The battery lasted approximately 23 hours. So if you want to work with a battery that is going to be reliable, we suggest a lithium polymer battery.
